There is something about Bruce Weber’s photography that is distinctly youthful, inherently American. Ralph Lauren recently tapped Weber’s vision (once again) to introduce The Big Pony Collection of fragrances inspired by the four players of a polo team, the icon of the American lifestyle brand for the past four decades. Not only did Weber shoot the print campaign but he directed a short companion video. It is quintessential lifestyle photography. The styling exhibits depth, the mood light, and the landscape detailed. The fragrances are based on a duo of ingredients to give a clear and precise signal from the top to the background.
The Sporty Fragrance—This refreshing tonic matches up lime and grapefruit.
The Seductive Fragrance—Of the four Big Pony scents, 2 is the most provocative, a mix of dark chocolate, ginger and spice. Most of the women I have spoken to love this one. Unlike anything out there.
The Adventurous Fragrance—A thrilling scent of mint and ginger root that triggers somewhat of an adrenaline rush. Its nod to the outdoors makes this my personal favorite.
The Stylish Fragrance—An energizing boost that layers mandarin and kyarawood for a one-of-a-kind, stylish edge.
