I’m a little embarassed since this is almost the EXACT playlist I just made (with the exception of OneRepublic). I blame my hours of driving around listening to SiriusXMU.

Wilson—The playlists are available for download the 1st of every month…get it while it’s hot.  The reason I don’t create iMixes on iTunes is because sometimes I’ll pick songs from artists that aren’t for sale on iTunes or that haven’t even been released yet.

I would love to purchase these songs on iTunes.  Have you given any thought to creating an iMix so that the songs could be easily purchased without having your readers execute searches in iTunes for each song,

So Indie—What you fail to point out is the more obscure artists such as Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Temper Trap, White Rabbits or Cut Copy.  Vampire Weekend, The Kooks, MGMT are all on the list because those particular songs contribute to the overall vibe I am creating.

In the meantime, if you don’t like a particular playlist, simply do not download it.  Nowhere have I ever stated I am trying to create a cutting edge indie rock playlist.  If I was, very few readers would actually listen to it.  I’ve found an effective playlist is made up of one part new songs/artists (BlakRoc, etc), one part top 40 (LaRoux), and one part older songs people love to sing along to (Mercy).  I’m here to share music consistent with the Unabashedly Prep culture.

What an indie playlist. Your music taste is so hip and cutting edge. Vampire Weekend? MGMT? THE KOOKS? La Roux? This is a shark-jumping mix of perfection.
