Fortune’s Children
Young, gorgeous, and recession proof, 38 of the world’s most eligible heirs and heiresses posed for Bruce Weber in Vanity Fair (June 2009). But they’re not resting on their family’s laurels. They’re making privilege count–many in the family business; some in areas of their own choosing. I’ve hand-picked my favorites for their cable-knit sweaters, riding boots and monogrammed ties but you can view the rest of Weber’s photos at VanityFair.com.

Lapo’s monogram tie has the logo of the Italian football club Juventus.

I remember the first time I saw these shots; some of the loveliest photos and it’s great to see them again.

Thanks for sharing Weber’s imagery. His work strikes me as beautiful, powerful and serene. What an interesting mix. Also LOVE the site. I instantly feel the Prep ^_^ Love the details - the icon, comments box, twitter feed, banner. Too Rad!

Allie in G’town—Sans the cigarette for health reasons…yes. But photographing Lapo without a cigarette just wouldn’t be as sexy. Hehe!

Sunday—I thought you’d like it. I’ll be keeping it up, just keep spreading the word.
Alisha—I had fun developing the personal stationary concept for the comment section and it’s good to hear that the experience is as fun as it looks.
Allie in G’town—Lapo, doesn’t he just have impeccable taste (most of the time)?

@ Peter:
Naturally, since he (well, actually his family) owns it!
