Spot on. Anyone who tells you skinny ties are the “new thing” obviously never looked at men in the Northeast 1962. My mother teaches design and told me that almost nothing in fashion is truly original anymore. She’s right, but we can still appreciate the looks of today even if they take inspiration from yesterday.
