Grosgrain ribbon is a summer staple. It’s right up there with white bucks. While you can underscore its virtues with a watchband, some occasions call for something a bit more ostentatious in the form of a belt—and by “some occasions,” I mean anytime you damn well please between Easter and Labor Day.

Knot Belt Co. was founded by Nick Mannella out of an appreciation for his beloved east coast, an affinity for golf and a corporate banquet dress code mishap. While most ribbon belts depict an array of stripes, Knot Belt Co.’s eponymous grosgrain ribbon belt touts just that—a knot. His belts are made in America—in his own backyard of New England. The small repeating motif print is nothing new but the knot feels fresh.
