forgot to comment on the actual post…whoops.

really enjoy the fall pieces done in a transitional way.  i adore bow ties, and pulls it off exceptionally well.  i have the exact same bag and heels.  she looks great.

For those ladies who are interested , a number of vintage Dooney bags can be found on Etsy, surprisingly enough. I don’t like the new D&B bags nearly as much as the classic leather ones from the Eighties. Wish I’d kept mine instead of giving it away during my ill-advised punk phase, LOL. But that’s why they call it “youthful indiscretion,” I suppose!

i’m so jealous of these girls with vintage dooney bags (damn my germ phobia.)just being playful with her preppy style…that solidly starts with this http://www.unabashedlyprep.com/site/entry/patch-made-in-heaven/ i’ve realized that on someone cute - regardless of age or gender - the bowtie adds a kitten in a bow adorableness. loving them more and more.

I see nothing worthy of honest criticism here. The Lifschitz pieces are among the best elements in the outfit and the young woman has terrific gams.

I love the bowtie, but above all, I’m in love with the vest. It’s rare to see this type of vest on guys, but even rarer to see it in on girls. Great photo, beautiful find.

Is that skirt from J. Crew? And I love the vest - wish I could find one like that. It’s harder to find bow ties that aren’t too big on girls, good job on this one! Love this outfit, she is a very pretty girl!

More women wearing bow ties, please! It’s one of my goals for the year. I get girl crushes on any one who can pull it off.

Not off your game, keep it up.

I love this outfit.  I think it looks like she’s modeling for JCrew.  Her legs look AMAZING.  If I was her I would always walk around wearing skirts.

The unbuttoned vest and the tie give this look a bit of an Annie Hall vibe.  Looks good.
