@Max: I like how it’s more subdued. The red and the gingham are already so active that another element would just be too much. To each, his own, of course!

@ Daniel - don’t you think the bow tie gets lost in the shirt ?  It comes off as an odd “negative space” effect.  I think some color “pop” would have tied it together nicely.

@Max: I disagree about the bow tie color. Pink is in keeping with the red and purple, and the red pants are plenty of flair for the entire outfit. Nicely done.

The outfit is pretty awesome.  I do agree about the blazer.  However,  I would pair this with a tapered chino, shortened about a 1/2 inch with a kelly green bow tie.
