• The Grand Budapest Hotel Trailer

    Miscellany

Rejoice, Wes Anderson fans, rejoice. Our favorite director and conspirator of worlds quirky and eclectic, has recently released the trailer for his latest work “The Grand Budapest Hotel.” The ensemble comedy about a hotel concierge who strikes up a friendship with a lobby boy at the ritzy hotel at which they work in 1920s Europe is fantastically rich (the mustaches are a nice touch). It might be his most ambitious film to date. Anderson enlists a star-powered cast of Ralph Fiennes, Adrien Brody, Jeff Goldblum, Willem Defoe, Jude Law, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, and usual suspects Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, and Jason Schwartzman. “The Grant Budapest Hotel” is set to release March 7, 2014. Which Wes Anderson film is your favorite?

    @ Dylan Russell:

A 12 year old kid listening to The Creation? Can you get any cooler than that? I’m in my 40s now, and I started listening to The Creation when I was about 17… And they were far before my time too! Same with The Faces, The Kinks, The Who or The Beach Boys whose music can be found on several Wes Anderson film soundtracks.

Keep it up, young man. Your music taste is red with purple flashes! ;-)

Even though it might be a little odd: I love “Fantastic Mr. Fox”!!!

I have some diverse musical taste now because I saw Wes Anderson’s Rushmore and Moon Rise Kingdom. Which is why Wes Anderson is my all time favorite director. I am 12 years old and the only one who listens to Hank Williams senior and the creation.

Thanks for the view of the trailer. I love to watch Wes Anderson films with my two sons. We get on these kicks where we quote Wes Anderson dialogue in most everything we do.

My favorite is, by far, The Midnight Coterie of Sinister Intruders. Or, at least, it would be, if it was real ;)
