Saw this picture yesterday and it made me wear my plaid pants today!

Also…where did you get those pants? I Love Love the fit. Do you usually tailor most of your pants Fred?

This is a great shot, and the photographer’s images remind me of early Scorsese, Leone, Copolla, and in some instances Fellini. And what’s not to like in LA?

Love the pants. The whole sockless look might not always be warranted, but look good and of the moment. They stick out, especially out here in Los Angeles; no one wears pants like that. The coat? Seems a little too much for the assuming warm weather. However, being an LA native, it does drop down to 30 degrees in my neighborhood at times, and that is pretty damn cold for us. A coat that big, for a person not used to 40 degree climate is definately fine. Too many assumptions going on here. And Joe, it was suppossed to snow down to 500ft in elevation, I live at 1900 ft and it didn’t snow. Very few places received an inch or two of it.

Those shoes are beautiful, and the fit of your trousers are perfect.

This is an incredibly strong look, both in the clothes and the demeanor. One of my favorites you have posted. The fit of everything is spot on. Those PANTS. Man.
You are killing it like no other.

Great photo, I have a pair of pants similar to those heading for alterations for a tapper. I’ve been trying to figure out some colors to mix with it and I have a starting point now. Thanks F.E.

the bluish grey smog makes the perfect colored backdrop for this ensemble. great plaid mingling too.

Great look! Not too fond of the double collars, but I like the rest of the outfit.

Not sure when this photo was taken, but didn’t it just snow in LA?
Great shades — just bought those same ones a few weeks ago (brown polarized lenses and tortoise shell frames, right?). Unfortunately the sun doesn’t shine much here in Great Britain.

@AEV—Flusser did tell me to wear socks…in chilly NYC. This is Hollywood where the sun is out though the wind is kicking a chilly breeze across the hills. I’m in wool trousers, knit rugby, OCBD and a wool duffel coat—I’m warm enough as is, I’m not wearing socks ;)

Awesome outfit. I love the jacket. I usually don’t like double collars, but you pull it off well.
