I’m digging the blazer buttons and the watch band. BD collar with suit is professorial, not ideal for business, but totally acceptable for academics, creatives and perhaps white shoe lawyers. The modern obsession with cutaway collars and the like is pure-globalization as embodied by late 90’s era politicians like Bill Clinton and Tony Blair who first popularized the monochromatic tie/ white shirt/ dark suit as the go to get-up for global elites with JFK being the John the Baptist to Clinton/Blair’s Jesus. At least with respect to suits. McGeorge Bundy however wore suits, BD collars and bowties to bookish but stylish effect. Note not affect - although bowties are always suspect in this regard. Either way, not bad. U club does a nice seafood buffett and I’m a fan of their billards room.

I love this. I personally like my bow ties a little crumpled. It adds a touch more depth. That watchband is fantastic.

Simple, tasteful, and comfortable. That shirt and the thread on those buttons works so well. This is how it is done, gentlemen.

A little rumpled after a long day at Brooks making the bow ties. And yes, no socks. Thanks, F.E.

At first I had trouble recognizing SP without his vibrant colours. Great photo FEC. SP, I eagerly await your next batch of bowties.

This might be the most subdued photo of Cooper I’ve ever seen.
