@Francesca: My first thought exactly!  Will be scouring the Jack Wills website for it the rest of the day.  Thanks, F.E., for the tip! - Leith http://outsidelanddiaries.blogspot.com

This morning I visited what I suspected was the crime scene. Positive ID confirmed.
    Dude….you were at Naushop!
Best to you and your crew.

  • Sailing Nantucket Sound

    Miscellany

Nantucket is an escape. If you didn’t grow up spending your summers here (like me), it’s also a privilege. We’ve all packed into Mackenzie’s family home for a week of The Juice Bar’s hand-rolled cones, outdoor showers, and home-cooked meals (a perfect occasion to whip up my signature spaghetti sauce). It’s a full house. And by full I mean Mackenzie, me, Carly, Amy, and a slew of interns, cousins, and siblings. Somehow we all managed to pile on The Endeavor and escape toward The Sound near dusk. You know you’re in a good place when all you feel is the chop of the waves and the wind across your face.

I love the outfit, in white: Top (split back over-lap) and jeans.
    A beautiful outfit,
    on a beautiful woman,
    in a beautiful photograph.
    Well done.

I often wish I grew up on the East Coast.  And then I see pictures such as these and know I SHOULD have been born on the East Coast.  You have all the luck.  http://outsidelanddiaries.blogspot.com

@AMS—While the very nature of a “signature” recipe implies secrecy, I will tell you this: I sauté bell peppers, mushrooms, and red onions before marinating them in my tomato sauce over low heat.

AMS left a comment on 8/8/2013 at 11:32 AM:

@FEC - Would you consider sharing the recipe for your signature spaghetti sauce?

This may be the most perfect collection of photographs ever assembled simultaneously on a single web platform. Looks like an utterly fantastic time.

@Ryan—I am accepting applications for fall internships; however, you must have completed at least your freshman year.

Ryan left a comment on 8/7/2013 at 9:55 PM:

Are you accepting high schoolers for your internship next year? If so, is there a limit to the age?

@Andy M.—I’d recommend washing on the gentle cycle and then hang drying.

I can’t get a Lacoste polo to remotely retain it’s shape for a single season…  What is she doing differently?

Yes, where is her lightship basket?  That’s pure Nantucket!  Have had mine since 1987!

I was hoping she would have a real Nantucket basket for a purse, like from TOPH.
