• WWD Menswear Feature

    Miscellany

Often called "the fashion bible," Women's Wear Daily serves as the voice of authority, international newswire and agent of change for fashion, beauty and retail industries. They also happen to publish a weekly Menswear report every Thursday. David Lipke interviewed me for a men's style blog piece he wrote in the upcoming issue. You can currently read the article in its entirety online. The issue will be on stands October 26th with some issues dropping as early as later this week in L.A. and New York.

Congrats on the feature! The write up they did for you is very nice. Have you had a spike in site visitors? I hope so!
PS—Rockwell looks so dapper on the cover with his vest and skinny tie .

On the subject of monetizing UP:  Any plans on releasing a book with all of these great looks by the way? I think it would make a great coffeetable book. I always feel I would like a higher resolution version of the photos so I can really see all the details and patterns and watches and so on.

I didn’t realize you were from Dallas, which makes your zealous enthusiasm for the New England preppy lifestyle even more admirable.

As someone who originates from the great Northeast, I often find it is people like you who are keeping the culture alive. To some the preppy lifestyle is yet another sign of New England’s pretentiousness, to others it is one of many reasons to worship the region.

Didn’t realize you were Texas-based. Now I like the blog even more! Even if it is Dallas…

Congrats on the feature! You certainly deserve the attention, you are doing a great job of documenting the preppy style. Unabashedly Prep is my favourite fashion-blog and the first thing I check in the morning (though living in Europe usually means I have to wait until after lunch for anything new). Keep up the good work FEC!

Nice press.  Please say hello to the guys at Pockets Menswear for me.  I loved that store when I was a resident of Dallas.

Very nice, they used one of my more favorite looks of yours as well! It’s nice to know that you didn’t “grow up in the lifestyle per se of sailing in the Northeast,” since I didn’t either.
